Dog - Urinary
As pets get older they may become more susceptible to urinary and kidney conditions these very common in cats and some breeds of dog. These will usually be diagnosed by your Vet and should always be treated under veterinary supervision.
Diet can be a factor and in general dried and heavily processed foods should be avoided as they may aggravate the situation, but there are specialised diets that your vet can recommend.
Herbal medicines are effective in maintaining urinary and kidney function and in treating some chronic kidney and bladder conditions. They can be administered either alone or in conjunction with conventional medication.
